Tickets.

Most people do not realize the consequences of pleading guilty to a charge, or at least to assure the ticket is free from a technicality that may have it thrown out at trial. The insurance companies may increase rates because of convictions on your record. When you choose to pay your ticket without a trial, you will be found guilty as charged, a conviction will be registered with the courts, and you are giving up your right to a trial.

Choosing to plead guilty with an explanation means you are only asking the Justice of the Peace for a minor reduction of fine. The charge(s) remain the same and the demerit points total cannot be changed. The Justice of the Peace has no jurisdiction to save your demerit points or dismiss the charge.

Please understand just because you feel you did commit the offence you were charged with, doesn't mean the Crown can prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. Having a trial on the charge(s) against you means that the police officer, and prosecution must prove the case to a Justice of the Peace. It?s our dedication to you to provide the best resources available to assure the most positive results.

Traffic Law Advocate (E.E.) gives free phone consultations, and is pleased to explain our function in keeping your license clean, and insurance rates down. If you choose to defend yourself in court, are you capable to stand up against the prosecution? How much will it eventually cost you in lost pay? For an appeal if you are not satisfied? You need proper representation in court, and we will send our qualified traffic court agents to represent, and defend you so you don't loose any time and pay from work.

With the qualified agents of Traffic Law Advocate (E.E.) defending you at trial, you can rest assured, and be confident that you have the best representation in court on your side. Most alleged violators don't realize that traffic tickets have demerit points associated with them. The Ministry of Transportation may require you to attend an interview after accumulating six, nine or fifteen demerit points and may suspend your driver's license for 30 days to six months.

Accident Benefits & Insurance Rates.

If you are involved in an accident, you are entitled to claim for injuries under your accident benefits. Traffic Law Advocate (E.E.) ensures you are provided with what you should be from your insurance company. If you are not sure where you stand after an accident, please call us to clarify any questions you may have. Your insurance company may increase your rates depending on what they believe may be their risk of having to pay a claim on you. Any ticket you receive reflects on your driving, and ultimately on your insurance. The more traffic ticket convictions you have, the higher your risk is assessed. Any traffic ticket will show on your driver abstract, and your insurance company will see it. We will be more than pleased to inform you what the implications of any traffic ticket or Criminal conviction will be. An insurance company looks at all convictions, and your insurance rates may reflect. For example although one minor speeding ticket for traveling 10 or 20 over the limit probably wouldn't increase your rates, having a minor ticket for not having your insurance card would be considered a second conviction which very well may send your rates up. Don?t be surprised!!! Fight all your traffic tickets, and give yourself a chance to keep your rates as low as possible.
